My name is Azib Rajput, and I’m a professional Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience in the field. I have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from UET Taxila, where I learned how to analyze structures, run projects, and design. My interest in engineering started when I was young. I’ve always been interested in designing and building bridges and other infrastructure that makes people’s lives easier and more convenient.
As a junior engineer at Bahria Town Construction Services, I started my career working on residential, commercial, infrastructure, and road construction projects. Over time, I got more experience and was promoted to construction manager. Since then, I’ve worked on several big projects, such as building bridges, highways, and airport runways. My colleagues and clients have praised me for my skill in the field. They like how I pay attention to details, have technical expertise, and work hard to finish projects on time and budget.
Aside from what I’ve done at work, I’m also dedicated to giving back to the community. I have done a lot of volunteer work, including building schools and community centres in places like Kashmir, KPK, Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, where people don’t have much. Engineers have a social responsibility to use their skills to help society, and I will do my part to make the world a better place.
When not working, I like spending time with my family, hiking, and reading about the latest engineering developments. I have also worked in Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Iran, and Qatar. I learned about different infrastructures and advanced building structures, such as skyscrapers, and tried out new technologies and innovations in progressive civil engineering.
Overall, I’m proud of my work as a civil engineer and hope to continue making a difference in people’s lives through it.
Each type of knowledge has value; however, from an engineering point of view, practical knowledge seems to be more valuable than theoretical knowledge.
